Today, we offer an economical toasted perilla oil & sesame oil.

The oils are made with seeds grown from abroad - not Korea grown.

The toasted perilla oil is made with perilla seeds imported from China.

The toasted sesame oil is made with sesame seeds imported from India, Pakistan & Nigeria.

When purchasing oils made with foreign-grown seeds, it’s always good to check the quality of the seeds and reputation of the manufacturer.

Since 1997, Cheongyang Foods has been producing sesame oil and perilla oil in Korea.

In fact, they are the company behind the scenes, producing sesame and perilla oils for some of Korea’s largest food brands (white-labeling).

Cheongyang Foods has even built their own research facility to continuously test & run quality assurance of all of their oils (benzopyrene testing).

For this personal brand, only whole seeds (not broken) are imported.

The imported seeds are then roasted to just the right level, then squeeze once!

Afterwards, the extracted oil is filtered through a 3-stage process, then tested for quality, before being bottled for use.
