Use it to whisk matcha easily - it creates the perfect foam with no chunks!

There are two factors to consider in a chasen:

The first is the bamboo quality. This will determine how long it will last before the whisks begin to break or warp.

Super Matcha's Bamboo Whisk is made from premium-quality, Korean Purple Bamboo (오죽). This purple bamboo grows natively in Korea (not imported from China).

The second is the bristle count.

The more bristles a whisk has, the finer it is. The bristle count ranges anywhere between 16 and 120.

The higher the number, the easier it is to whisk matcha into a smooth, foamy texture. 

Super Matcha has a 100 string count. It whips-up foamy matchas quickly - plus it's designed beautifully.
