Fast, Simple & Delicious Jajangmyeon
[Chung Jung One] Fire-Roasted Jajangmyeon Powder
This is a great product to keep stocked in your pantry!
It's a Jajangmyeon powder that can be used to make authentic Jajangmyeon sauce in less than 15 minutes. Simply stir-fry a few fresh ingredients, add water, and mix-in this Jajangmyeon powder. Then voilà - you have a pot of freshly made Jajangmyeon sauce to serve over a bowl of fresh rice or noodles.
In Korea, many locals like a "fire-roasted" sauce. This simply means that the ingredients or the Jajang sauce itself has been stir-fried over a high flame for a deeper, slightly-smoked flavor. It makes the sauce taste even better. Luckily, this sauce is made like that - first stir-fried in a large steel cauldron at 250°C (480°F), then dehydrated and powderized.
We were very impressed by the taste of this sauce - it was comparable to many Jajangmyeon shops in Seoul. If you crave Jajangmyeon from time-to-time, this will make your day!
1 Packet contains 80 grams (makes 4 servings). Available in bundles of 3, 6 or 9 packets.
