Q. What are the black specks floating in the sauce?
A. They come from the truffle paste used in the product. These are bits of real truffle, so you can enjoy them with confidence.
Q. Why has the oil separated in the sauce?
A. The olive oil and canola oil that give the sauce its rich flavor don’t naturally mix well with water.
When oil and water are finely mixed together, it looks uniform—this is called emulsion. However, emulsion can break due to external factors.
Common causes of separation include high temperatures (like during summer), physical shock, exposure to light, or vibrations.
If the product is exposed to temperatures above the recommended storage range during distribution or storage, oil separation may occur.
This is completely normal and not a sign of product defect. Simply shake well before use.
Q. How should I store Hot N' Things Hot Sauce?
A. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
After opening, keep refrigerated to prevent spoilage.
