Founded in 2019 by Daniel Oh and Katie Ok of Future Neighbor, Gochujar began with one realization: truly exceptional Korean ingredients are rarely found outside Korea.
While supermarkets are dominated by mass-produced brands, small-batch artisans continue to produce higher-quality alternatives—often without the means to reach international customers.
