[Chaeon] 30-Day Korean Burdock Tea
Burdock Tea is not only tasty, but very healthy!
Google "Burdock Tea" and you'll see the list of health benefits. It's listed as one of the Top-5 teas for medicinal purposes. Its usage includes detoxifying blood, controlling diabetes/blood sugar levels, clearing up skin conditions like eczema, and even increasing libido! It's considered one of nature's wonder plants.
Chaeon grows its burdock 100% organically (without any chemicals) in Mt. Seokdu, Korea. It's harvested with plenty of hard work at 700m above sea level. The harvested root is cut into thin pieces with its peel-on to retain nutrition. Then dried-out for days. The burdock pieces are then roasted and bottled.
Note: Burdock tea has a mild flavor and many older Koreans like to drink it regularly - hot or cold. Chaeon also prints a 30-day drinking challenge on its label to promote better health.
Bought this tea due to many health beneficials and baby making. 😅 My first cup of tea sent me to the bathroom a few times for the day. Definitely did it’s detox work. I also read Burdock tea can boost your libido. Oh yeahhh. Iykyk. I recommend!
Having lived in Japan for 5 years got used to Asian teas and especially Green Tea and Oolong. I bought this tea without knowing what to expect. My first impressions weren't the best because it had a light flavor but as I started drinking it every day it really grew on me! Now I'm having at least 1 serving a day ( 300-400ml ). Something I noticed was that after the first 4-5 days I was filling more full throughout the day and didn't feel the need to consume monstrous amounts of food on lunch and dinner ( as I usually do!) - so for anyone keep it on a diet, this tea might help! This could be just my body though! Overall if you want your body to feel healthy and don't mind that much the taste, this tea will be great for you! Some tips: Put a cover on top of your glass cup/ container while waiting for the tea to cool down. It will really help to enhance the aroma and the taste! Also feel free to use same burdock for extra fill ins! Usually up to the 3rd usage it doesn't delude much!
I'll admit, I'm not much of a tea drinker except for ginger tea occasionally if I'm a little under the weather ... but this intrigued me. Yes, it's earthy but really smooth and mellow. With warmer weather coming, I'll be drinking it cold/as an iced tea. Glad I decided to give it a try.
So, I came to this website browsing for spices to make myself some proper bipimbap (which I, of course, did) when I stumbled across this tea. I'm a huge tea drinker and can't quite resist trying something new. This tea is excellent. It smells a bit like old coffee grounds, but it is smooth and calming. It tastes quite earthy, with the slightest hint of natural sweetness. I'm so excited to add this to my evening rotation of ginger, tumeric, and date teas (it definitely belongs in the same category).I hope you guys add new teas soon, as I can't wait to try more! Also, I had the most amazing rice green tea at a Korean restaurant in Edinburgh. If something like that ended up on the site, I may buy up the entire stock!
