Where we ship

We deliver to more than 100 countries, including the UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Germany, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Italy and Israel. Can't see your country at checkout? Email us and ask.

Spain: we can't ship food items to Spain right now. Everything else ships as usual.

United States: please order from gochujar.com, our U.S. store.

Shipping cost

Shipping is a flat $5 to any country for an order with one item, and free when your order has two or more items. There are no surprise shipping fees at checkout.

Processing and delivery

Orders typically leave Korea within 1–3 business days of the order date. If something is out of stock, we'll email you with the expected delay.

Delivery takes about 1–2 weeks to most countries. This is an estimate: customs processing, carrier backlogs, holidays and weather can all add time, and some destinations take longer.

Carriers and tracking

We ship with Korea Post or FedEx. Korea Post parcels are handed to your country's postal service once they arrive, and your local post office delivers them to your door.

When your order ships, we'll email you a tracking number. It often lands in spam, so check there first. You can follow your parcel on our tracking page, which works for both Korea Post and FedEx numbers.

Larger orders may ship in several boxes, each with its own tracking number. If only part of your order arrives, check your email for the other tracking numbers.

Delays and lost parcels

Tracking often pauses while a parcel clears customs or passes to your local postal service, and updates can appear all at once. If there's been no update for 3 weeks, email us and we'll open a trace with Korea Post. If the parcel is confirmed lost, you'll get a full refund. See our refund policy for details.

Shipping address

Please check your address before you order. If you spot a mistake before your order ships, update it in your account and email us right away. Once a parcel has shipped, we can't reroute it, but your local post office may be able to help with the tracking number.

Parcels returned to Korea

If a parcel can't be delivered and comes back to Korea, we can reship it once the new postage is paid, or give you a partial refund under our refund policy. The original postage is deducted, and returned food items can't be refunded.

Import duties and taxes

EU orders: we pay the EU import VAT on your behalf through IOSS, so there's nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives. This covers orders worth up to €150; for larger orders, VAT and customs fees may be charged on arrival.

Other countries: your country may charge import duties, VAT, GST or customs fees when your parcel arrives. These are set by your country, not by us, and are the customer's responsibility. We package carefully and fill in customs forms correctly to keep delays and extra charges to a minimum.

Customs decisions are outside our control, and we can't refund products that customs seizes, refuses or returns. Some foods can't be imported into certain countries, so please check your country's rules if you're unsure.
