Korean Mandarin Ducks (원앙) are gifted to newlyweds as a symbol of unity and fidelity.

That's because Mandarin Ducks stays monogamous. Once they find a partner, they stay together until death.

Today we present you with a pair of premium wedding ducks in Korea!

Drida's ducks are hand-carved by a master Korean woodworker.

Take a close look - the breast area is beautifully designed with smooth chiseled, hexagon pattern.

The base of the body is accentuated with sharp lines to represent the feathers.

The pieces are finished with a scorching process to burn the wood and accentuate its design features.

Note: The green duck represents the husband, and the red represents the wife. The ribbon around the male's beak indicates that listening (as opposed to talking) is a essential virtue in married life!

The ducks come wrapped in a traditional Korean silk cloth (called a Bojagi), with a bow design on top.

Use as a design object in your living room.

The Mandarin Ducks have safely arrived last week and I couldn't be more happier. The ducks size are big enough (not too big and not too small) to be put on a cabinet (or anywhere in the house you want to). I am giving it away as a wedding gifts to a lovely Korean couple and I do hope that they will love it as much as I do. :)

I've orders mandarin ducks in the past once from Amazon. Just some cheap ones made in a factory somewhere. There is definitely a huge quality difference between the 2 as these are handcrafted(by an actual Korean) and much detail has been put in them. They are cute and small enough to fit easily on your mantle or wherever. I also appreciated Daniel placing a handwritten note in with the package thanking me for the purchase. If you want the authentic mandarin duck experience I think these are the way to go.
