Handmade in Yeoju, Korea

[Kitchen Style] Handmade Rice & Soup Bowl (Set of 2)

The true workhorse of the Korean kitchen —these bowls are the ones you’ll reach for every single day.

Handmade in Yeoju, Korea’s historic pottery town, each bowl is shaped one by one using the traditional Buncheong technique and kiln-fired at high temperatures for strength and durability.

Finished in a natural gobaekja (ivory-white porcelain) tone, the clay reveals tiny iron speckles when fired, giving each piece its own rustic charm and handmade authenticity. No two bowls are exactly alike.

Their simple, unadorned design lets your food take center stage—whether it’s rice, soup, or banchan. The ivory glaze enhances the vibrant colors of your meal, adding elegance to even the most casual setting.

Practical and reliable, these bowls are:

✅ Microwave safe

✅ Oven safe

✅ Dishwasher safe

✅ Stackable and easy to clean

These bowls have just the right weight and size to them - great for daily Korean rice and single portions of soup/stew.

Available in two types: Rice Bowl or Soup Bowl. (Comes as a set of 2).

I bought three sets of this soup and rice bowls. When I received them three bowls broken. The owner sent new three for replacement. The bowls are simple & modest.
